All Wood ADU was developed as a sister company to All Wood Construction, LLC to help combat the ever-growing need for liveable spaces in Boise, Idaho. We are a locally owned and operated ADU specialist, who partners with other local companies to design and build turn-key ADU’s in the Treasure Valley. Our innovative vision elevates the building experience to bring unique, custom additional dwelling units to not only increase property value and use, but also encompass your style and interests.
Our Story
At the age of 17, Steve began swinging his first hammer. In 2003, he became a general contractor in Alaska, building everything and anything he could, and then in 2012 he started All Wood Construction, LLC in Vancouver WA.
All Wood Construction thrived and is well-known as the fastest, quality framing company in the Vancouver area. He and his team worked with other highly regarded companies such as Glavin Homes and Cano Real Estate building beautiful custom homes, many of which were for the Parade of Homes.
Fast forward to 2023...Steve and his life partner Amanda moved to Boise, Idaho abruptly to be closer to Amanda's family. Situated up on "The Bench", they found themselves in a small 800sq foot home on a lot 4x it's size. The conversation sparked around ADU's when their neighbor was complaining about the framing process of her own ADU...and Steve & Amanda quickly realized they had the experience, vision and ability to start a company to KICK ASS in the industry of accessory dwelling units.
